BLS (CPR for Healthcare Providers)  is required for all Medical Students-Medical Providers as well as BLS Renewal Certification Classes every two years.

BLS even though the class includes CPR, BLS is designed for all Healthcare Providers and Medical Students.

CPR Classes are designed for Non-Healthcare Providers/Students, yet require training in CPR.

All American Heart Association BLS Certification Cards are issued the same day of the class.

The only recognized BLS Certification for Lakewood or NJ Healthcare Providers or Medical Students is an American Heart Association BLS Provider Certification. This also  requires an in-person 'Hands-On' portion.

Times vary based on the number of students participating in the class. This range is from 3-4 hours with an average BLS Class time of 3.5 hours.

Yes! Online BLS/CPR Classes even though claim their certification is a valid BLS /CPR Certification, no Online Only BLS/CPR Certification is recognized as valid BLS/CPR Certification. 

BLS Classes cover all basic life supporrt skills to stabilize a patient in an acute life threatening emergency.

Basic life support skills include effective chest compressions, rescue breathing.

Proper use of a bag-mask device and use of an (AED) for the Adult, Child and Infant Populations.

Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest.

Basic Airway management.

Choking Relief for the Adult, Child and Infant.

Effective communication as a member and leader of a Basic Life Support team.

BLS Certification Is Valid for Two Years from The Date of Issue.

All American Heart Association BLS Certification Cards are issued the same day of the class.
